Hi bros and sises. Got the site back up, but page is late. I’ve been doing some head-fixy kind of personal stuff and my drive to do art is negative ten. However, I’m working on bullying through pg 17. I may get through 18 tomorrow as well and you’ll get a double-post of apology. <3 Because I love you. Anyway. Update tomorrow, tentatively.

SORRY GUYS! I just upgraded to the newest version of wordpress and I am having SITE ISSUES. You can also find the comic here: http://anodyne-webcomic.deviantart.com/   That’s the best I can do for the moment. I’m also working on getting the site up through Smackjeeves perhaps? I dunno. Something with a framework that is a touch more stable than what I have now, as I am not internet-savvy enough to fix things when they go wrong.

I’ve been puttering around the site trying to make things a bit nicer looking. There is a character section up now, so you can get everyone’s full-names and a few miscellaneous facts. Keep an eye on it, it’ll grow as our cast does.

I return to you in some sort of a bizarre delirium. I survived con and had a delightful time. A few people checked out the book and all was well. I’m trying to figure out other goodies to put up later, and how best to communicate with all of you fine folk as well. Expect funshinies soon. I got some good sketching done at con.

Depending on how quickly I get things finished you may start getting double-updates during the week. I’m considering colors/how the comic is colored and if there is a way to bring the story to you more quickly. I color fairly quickly, but not quickly enough to keep up the pace that I would like.  Mmm. ‘s about all for now.

I have been working like a MOTHERFUCKER on the bulk of this arc. I have to tell you. Otherwise you just would not know.  All things good, there will be 31 pages of delightful goodness on sale at Fanime. Yes, those readers who want will be jumping ahead in the story by getting a physical copy. The update for this week is going to be delayed a day. The page isn’t where I need it to be. I gave you a page last week that wasn’t where it should have been and it has since ‘been updated to something more presentable. Sorry about the delay! I’ll have pg 8 up no later than Friday. Thank you lovies!

Hey folks! Nothing too interesting to report. I’m getting the site up and functional. It is my intent to have character bios up by this weekend. School has calmed down a touch, so it’s not as stressful to update. Nice to see the new faces here. InkOutbreak is pretty handy. I’m ramping up for Fanime this year. I’ll have the first Arc on sale there. The eventual idea is that I’ll cobble together the 5/6ish arcs in a trade paperback eventually and give you all beautiful things. Extra pages, background stories on some of the characters, text-free covers, et cetera.

Anodyne is a bit of a labor of love for me. I am not in it for profit so much as for the ability to MAKE BOOKS. I really, really like designing and I love to draw. XD

I will have charm previews up in the extra section soon as well and I’m working on five or six illustrations as well. I have ambitions for wallpaper also. If you couldn’t already tell, I have an INTENSE love of swag, so expect slow but voluminous greatness.
